Getting on and off

We have designed two versions of the e-actv 100: - Low frame version: The low frame version is easy to get onto. This is particularly useful when you're using a child seat (ref.8893262). - High frame version: The high frame version is stiffer and gives you more precise steering, particularly on rough terrain and when you're carrying a heavy load (ref.8893260)

Decathlon Ride App Compatibility

Your cycling experience will be enhanced with the Decathlon Ride app, compatible with iOS 8+ and Android 7+. By connecting your bike via BLE to Decathlon Ride, you will have access to these features: Live performance: view your performance in real time (speed, time, etc.) Automatic mode: This mode dynamically manages the bike's motor assistance according to your physical effort and a set ideal effort range (central motor only).

Motor Features

36V Rockrider brushless motor on the rear wheel.Max light output: 250W Max torque: 45 Nm Ideal for terrain with a moderate slope, up to 10% incline and 500 m of continuous elevation gain. Not recommended for mountain passes.The electrical assistance cuts out above 25 km/h in accordance with EU regulations.

Battery Charging

Fully charges in 4.5 hours with the 2A charger provided. The battery must be removed using the keys provided to charge it. Compatible with Rockrider 4A chargers (Ref.: 8753941) for quicker charging. When to charge my battery? Lithium-ion batteries have no memory effect, so they can be charged at any time. We recommend charging your battery regularly before it is completely flat to maintain optimal performance.

Saddle

Rockrider Trekking saddle. The saddle height can be adjusted using an Allen key to reduce the risk of theft. A quick-release clamp can be installed. Ask your sales assistant.

What does e-actv 100 mean?

The abbreviation ACTV stands for "ACTIVE". We've designed this bike for everyone looking to adopt a more active lifestyle and reconnect with nature. The "e" means that this is an electrical assistance bike

SIZES

Sizes available: • Size S/M: 1.50 m to 1.72 m tall. • Size L/XL: 1.72 m to 1.95 m tall. If you're between 2 sizes: Get the smaller size if you want a more upright position. Get the bigger size if you want a more stretched-out position.

3 levels of assistance to manage your effort

You can choose from 3 levels of assistance at any time. Simply press the + or - button on the controller located on the handlebars to switch between modes. Mode 0 – Assistance off (0 Watt) Eco Mode - Light assistance (70 Watts) Normal Mode - Moderate assistance (125 Watts) Boost Mode - Maximum assistance for more challenging climbs (250 Watts)

The e-actv 100 is approved for a total maximum load of 120 kg: user + bike + additional load (bags, child, etc.).

Built-in, removable battery

Lithium-ion 36 V - 356 Wh battery. Locked into the bike's frame for better integration and protection. Quick release with key (3 keys included) to recharge it. Built-in carry handle. 500 charge cycles guaranteed without loss of battery life. Weight 2.3 kg Can you ride with a flat battery? Yes.If the battery is flat, the weight of the electric kit makes the bike less smooth to ride than a traditional hybrid bike. But you can still ride it if you break down.

Frame

Aluminium frame. Hydroformed diagonal tube. Maximum tyre size compatible with the mudguard: 700x47mm.

COMPATIBLE ACCESSORIES

Compatible with: • rear kickstand (ref. 8784182). Installation of kickstand requires only two screws.• rear pannier rack: compatible with most pannier racks available on the market. We recommend our dedicated rack (ref: 8828232). • frame lock (ref. 8735625) • child seat on the pannier rack • child seat on the frame • bottle holder:1 fixing point on the frame. If you need a second bottle, we recommend using a fabric bottle holder on your handlebar (ref. 8487122).

PEDALS

We've chosen to use wide platform pedals to keep you more comfortable and give you a feeling of stability. Resin pedals.

Wheels

Bike trailer compatibility

The e-actv 100 is compatible with trailers:- Hamax - Bike Original Thule and Croozer bike trailers are not compatible.

Built-in lights

Lights powered by the bike's battery: - LED AXA Echo 15 front light. Power: 15 lux. - LED rear light fixed to the rear mudguard. The rear light remains active (on lower power) for 4 minutes after turning off the bike.

Electrical and electronic components that resist dust and rain.

All of the electrical components (controller, motor, battery, etc.) are resistant to dust and rain (IPX5). This means that you can leave your bike outside in the rain without the battery. Any water that might get into the hole where the battery would normally be will run off the bike and won't damage the components. Do not wash with a pressure washer.

Up to 70 km of range with your trekking e-bike

The battery range varies depending on the weight being transported (user + load), the elevation gain, the wind and the outside temperature. Our tests have assessed the maximum battery range on relatively flat terrain without a load (no pannier bags or trailer): Eco Mode: up to 70km Normal Mode: up to 50 km Boost Mode: up to 30 km

Built-in SP Connect Smartphone Mount

The e-ACTV 100 is equipped with an SP Connect mount, making it easy to attach your smartphone to the stem. A wide range of SP Connect smartphone cases and universal mounts are available on the Decathlon website.The case or pouch is not included with the bike. SP Connect offers a quick, simple, and robust mounting solution for bikes and motorcycles.

Mudguard

The mudguards ensure that there is always 6 mm of space between the tyre and mudguard. They allow you to ride on dirt tracks without mud getting clogged between the tyre and the mudguard.
