RIVERSIDE 100 20-INCH CHILDREN'S MOUNTAIN BIKE, 6-9 YEARS

We've designed this all-terrain bike for children aged 6 to 9 (120 to 135 cm) who want to ride in city parks or on footpaths. This 20-inch children's VTC is robust and easy to use (1 speed only), making it ideal for first bike rides on all types of trails.

What is covered

In case of accidental breakage, the insurance included in your subscription covers the following cases:

Repairable damage

All parts broken accidentally as well as labor are covered.

Irreparable product

Your product will be replaced as soon as possible.

What to do in case of damage
  • It is essential to report your accident in your customer area before coming to the workshop.
  • Once the accident is reported, we advise you to make an appointment at our nearest workshop for better handling.

What is not included

Abnormal wear or vandalism

Deliberate damage, obvious vandalism, and non-compliance with conduct rules are not covered.
Our service includes maintenance and replacement of worn parts.
What is included in the maintenance and checkup
Don't repair your bike yourself, we take care of everything!

The maintenance of wear parts and your bike is covered for free in our workshop:

Tyres

Replacement of worn tyres and inner tubes.

Braking

Cables, housings, pads, discs, and levers.

Transmission

Chain, derailleur, cassette, and crankset.

Wheels & Adjustments

Wheel truing, complete safety adjustments.

Safety point checks

Functioning of the lights, braking efficiency, checking the tightness of moving parts.

What is not included

Abnormal wear or vandalism

To subscribe in-store:
  1. Come to your favourite Decathlon store
  2. A teammate will check the stock availability and help you with the subscription process
  3. You will need a credit card and mobile phone to make the payment
  4. Take the product with you and enjoy the sport!

During your minimum term

For the duration you choose, your low monthly price is guaranteed. This is the minimum time you agree to keep your subscription.

After your minimum term

Once your initial term is complete, your plan becomes flexible. You'll continue month-to-month at the same great rate and can return your products at any time.

A key point on Pricing

Your monthly rate is based on the minimum term you choose at the start and does not change later. In case of early return, the whole commitment fee is due.

A new frame to take on roads and paths

Our engineers have designed a new sturdy steel frame. Easy to get onto and its design is similar to the adult Riverside bike.

A saddle carefully designed to adapt to the morphology of children.

Why have we created a brake lever specifically for children?

Because children have smaller hands than adults, it's not always easy for them to reach the brake lever. This is why our engineers and designers have designed a brake lever closer to the handlebars that is easier to hold. The brakes are now in reach of little hands!

V-brake brake pads: Controlled braking

Two V-Brake pads for effective braking.These brakes are composed of callipers that exert more or less pressure on the rim to slow or stop the rotation of the wheels.

Comfort when riding

With its semi-raised handlebars, it has a comfortable riding position. The handlebars and stem are welded in a single piece to make it easier to adjust the cockpit.

With protective guards and anti-derailment system

To prevent children from becoming dirty, this bike is equipped with a guard that protects the chain and chainring. The internal collar prevents the risk of the chain derailing.

Wheel/tyre information

A hybrid tyre, adapted to both roads and trails. 20-inch 1.7"-2.2" wide inner tube with Schrader valve.

Additional fittings

The bike is fully equipped for riding on public roads: battery-powered lights, bell, reflectors on the wheels.

For smoother shipping, our bikes come with their pedals removed and the handlebar unscrewed (instructions and tools are supplied)

Look after your child's bike so that it's always ready for a new adventure! To ensure full maintenance, we recommend that you follow these 3 steps: 01 Degrease your drive train 02 Clean your bike 03 Lubricate your chain 3 steps that 3 require 3 products that can be found in our bike cleaning kit (8751194), that will become your best friend!
